Monthly Wrap-Up: September, 2014

On September 2014, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 0.48% and reached UAH 883,233,541; the total number of transactions increased by 19.59% and hit 50,244.

The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 16.41% and reached UAH 163,701,400 (139,829 contracts); the total number of transactions increased by 40.69% and reached 16,131.

The total trading volume on the securities market fell by 3.67% and reached UAH 719,532,141; the total number of transactions reached 34,113.

At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 9.12% to hit 1,073.37 points.

At the end of the month, the top sellers were shares of Ukrnafta the trading volume reached UAH 51,453,608 followed by government bonds UA85276 – UAH 31,965,963 and shares of Motor Sich – UAH 26,195,076. Their total turnover in shares reached 24.38%, 15.15% and 12.41% respectively.
