Monthly Wrap-Up: February, 2015

On February 2015, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 58.12% and reached UAH 683,145,215; the total number of transactions increased by 48.85% and hit 41,021.

The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 170.36% and reached UAH 246,217,799 (120,654 contracts); the total number of transactions reached 14,516.

The total trading volume on the securities market grew by 28.14% and reached UAH 436,927,415; the total number of transactions reached 26,505.

At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 13.46% to hit 1124.88 points.

Most effect was coming from the shares of Ukrnafta (UNAF) 50.89 points, Azovstal Iron and Steel Works (AZST) 27.42 points and Motor Sich (MSICH) 26.15 points.

At the end of the month, the top sellers were shares of Motor Sich, the trading volume reached UAH 29,239,522 followed by shares of Ukrnafta– UAH 20,701,989 and Centerenergo – UAH 19,188,256. Their total turnover in shares reached 22.2%, 15.72% and 14.57% respectively.
