Monthly Wrap-Up: April, 2015
On April 2015, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 4.7% and reached UAH 720,715,094; the total number of transactions decreased by 25.96% and hit 30,026.
The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 3.7% and reached UAH 297,873,999 (63,692 contracts); the total number of transactions reached 9,427.
The total trading volume on the securities market grew by 11.55% and reached UAH 422,841,094; the total number of transactions reached 20,599.
At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 5.36% to hit 1077.60 points.
Most effect was coming from the shares of Motor Sich (MSICH) 18 points, Azovstal Iron and Steel Works (AZST) 15.52 points and Centerenergo (CEEN) 13.53 points.
At the end of the month, the top sellers were shares of Motor Sich, the trading volume reached UAH 32,577,082 followed by shares of Ukrnafta– UAH 23,809,495 and Centerenergo – UAH 9,417,684. Their total turnover in shares reached 26.34%, 19.25% and 7.62% respectively.
