Monthly Wrap-Up: June, 2015
On June 2015, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 37.15% and reached UAH 578,282,917; the total number of transactions increased by 25.79% and hit 22,938.
The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 26.53% and reached UAH 228,893,869 (40,570 contracts); the total number of transactions reached 4,863.
The total trading volume on the securities market grew by 45.13% and reached UAH 349,389,047; the total number of transactions increased by 40.08% and reached 16,344.
At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 1.48% to hit 1,026.16 points.
Most effect was coming from the shares of Centerenergo (CEEN) 24.14 points, Ukrnafta (UNAF) -16.86 points and Azovstal Iron and Steel Works (AZST) 10.54 points.
At the end of the month, the top sellers were shares of Motor Sich, the trading volume reached UAH 53,996,619 followed by shares of Ukrnafta – UAH 11,659,707 and Centerenergo – UAH 11,527,703. Their total turnover in shares reached 43.25%, 9.34% and 9.23% respectively.
