Monthly Wrap-Up: July, 2015

On July 2015, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 12.37% and reached UAH 506,754,399; the total number of transactions decreased by 18.19% and hit 18,766.

The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 0.66% and reached UAH 227,378,958 (24,487 contracts); the total number of transactions dropped by 27.10% and reached 3,545.

The total trading volume on the securities market fell by 20.04% and reached UAH 279,375,440; the total number of transactions decreased by 6.87% and reached 15,221.

At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 4.95% to hit 975.72 points.

Most effect was coming from the shares of Motor Sich (MSICH) -12.64 points, Raiffeisen Bank Aval (BAVL) -9.01 points and Donbasenergo (DOEN) -8.54 points.

At the end of the month, the top sellers were shares of Standard Re, the trading volume reached UAH 12,133,642 followed by shares of Siam-capital – UAH 10,637,327 and Motor Sich – UAH 9,661,731. Their total turnover in shares reached 16.98%, 14.88% and 13.52% respectively.
