Monthly Wrap-Up: August, 2015
On August 2015, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 17.84% and reached UAH 416,325,839; the total number of transactions decreased by 14.31% and hit 16,080.
The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 16.36% and reached UAH 190,181,039 (27,615 contracts); the total number of transactions dropped by 6.88% and reached 3,301.
The total trading volume on the securities market fell by 19.05% and reached UAH 226,144,799; the total number of transactions decreased by 16.04% and reached 12,779.
At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 0.42% to hit 979.78 points.
Most effect was coming from the shares of Ukrnafta (UNAF) -16.02 points, Raiffeisen Bank Aval(BAVL) 8.71 points and Krukivsky Carriage Works (KVBZ) 6.46 points.
At the end of the month, the top sellers were shares of Motor Sich, the trading volume reached UAH 7,274,906followed by shares of Ukrteltecom– UAH 6,785,761and Ukrnafta – UAH 4,440,475. Their total turnover in shares reached 14.95%, 13.95% and 9.13% respectively.
