Monthly Wrap-Up: September, 2015

On September 2015, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 18.63% and reached UAH 493,870,895; the total number of transactions increased by 23.53% and hit 19,863.

The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 10.39% and reached UAH 209,932,608 (40,908 contracts); the total number of transactions increased by 27.51% and reached 4,209.

The total trading volume on the securities market grew by 25.56% and reached UAH 283,938,286; the total number of transactions increased by 22.5% and reached 15,654.

At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 10.88% to hit 872.35 points.

Most effect was coming from the shares of Centerenergo (CEEN) -46.03 points, Raiffeisen Bank Aval(BAVL) -21.99 points and Motor Sich (MSICH) -14.81 points.

At the end of the month, the top sellers were shares of Motor Sich – UAH 11,406,459 followed by bonds UA81275 – UAH 8,449,394 and shares of Centerenergo – 8,150,285. Their total turnover in shares reached 18.25%, 13.52% and 13.04% respectively.
