Monthly Wrap-Up: December 2015

On December 2015, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 5.97% and reached UAH 586,735,654; the total number of transactions decreased by 6.95% and hit 15,120. 

The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 12.85% and reached UAH 120,941,475 (26,646 contracts); the total number of transactions decreased by 35.51% and reached 2,733.

The total trading volume on the securities market grew by 4.31% and reached UAH 465,794,179; the total number of transactions increased by 3.13% and reached 12,387.

At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 4.23% to hit 685.86 points.

Most effect was coming from the shares of Centerenergo (CEEN) 26.36 points, Raiffeisen Bank Aval (BAVL) -18.25 points, and Ukrnafta (UNAF) -13.28 points.

At the end of the month, the top sellers were bonds (UA80400) – UAH 127,943,547 followed by bonds (UA84352) – UAH 11,058,371 and stoks of Ukrnafta – 9,475,565. Their total turnover in shares reached 62.96%, 5.42% and 4.64% respectively.
