Ukrainian Exchange operating schedule

October 12, 2013 come into effect "On the Depositary System of Ukraine" law. To preparation for the new work under the legislation on 10-13 October, 2013 the Ukrainian Exchange, The National Depository of Ukraine and the Central Counterparty will carry out routine maintenance, which does not carry trades calculation on October 10-11, 2013. Thereby, during the period from 9 to 11 October, 2013 the following operating schedule on the securities and derivatives markets of the Ukrainian Exchange:

October 9, 2013 - Securities and derivatives markets trading sessions are made in the standard conditions (from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm).

After the end of the trading session on the securities market segment you need to unlock all the customers assets, including cash assets.

October 10-11, 2013 - Transactions on the securities market are possible only in the negotiated trades mode with the settlement on October 14, 2013 and later. UX index is not calculated. Trading on the derivatives market are not held.

Starting from October 14, 2013 – closing time will be changed. Trading on a securities and derivatives markets will be carried out as follows:

10:00 am – Starting of the trading day. Pre-trading session on the securities market is opened.

10:30 am – Starting of the trading session on the securities and derivatives markets.

5:00 pm – Continuous trading mode is closed. Closing of the trading session on the derivatives market.

5:15 pm – Closing of the trading day.

Please note, on October 8, 2013 during evening clearing session initial margin of the futures contract (UX Index futures) will be increased from 20% to 25%. The increased initial margin will be in effect until the evening clearing session of October 14, 2013.
