Monthly Wrap-Up: June, 2014

On June 2014, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 2.00% and reached UAH 661,851,945; the total number of transactions decreased by 0.43% and hit 36,817.

The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 35.86% and reached UAH 107,241,050 (86,823 contracts); the total number of transactions reached 10,649.

The total trading volume on the securities market fell by 2.68% and reached UAH 554,610,895; the total number of transactions reached 26,168.

15 government bonds transactions were done on June; their total volume reached UAH 6,413,667.

At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 0.47% to hit 1226.69 points.

Most effect was coming from the shares of Motor Sich (MSICH),Donbasenergo(DOEN) andRaiffeisen Bank Aval (BAVL).

At the end of the month, the top sellers were shares of Motor Sich the trading volume reached UAH 45,270,222followed by Centerenergo – UAH 25,560,525 and Ukrnafta – UAH 18,578,899. Their total turnover in shares reached 28.53%, 16.11% and 11.71% respectively.
