Monthly Wrap-Up: October, 2015

On October 2015, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 23.27% and reached UAH 608,803,502; the total number of transactions decreased by 16.00% and hit 16,684.

The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 22.46% and reached UAH 162,781,194 (36,866 contracts); the total number of transactions decreased by 17.30% and reached 3,481.

The total trading volume on the securities market grew by 57.08% and reached UAH 446,022,307; the total number of transactions decreased by 15.66% and reached 13,203.

At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 9.07% to hit 793.19 points.

Most effect was coming from the shares of Azovstal Iron and Steel Works (AZST) -30.09 points, Motor Sich (MSICH) -29.51 points and Ukrnafta (UNAF) -20.69.

At the end of the month, the top sellers were shares of Motor Sich – UAH 7,780,545 followed by bonds UA30082 – UAH 6,477,843 and shares of Centerenergo – 6,065,396. Their total turnover in shares reached 12.72%, 10.63% and 9.95% respectively.
