Trading Results 2015
In 2015, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 22% YOY to UAH 6,690,385,837; the total number of transactions decreased by 52% and reached 283,092.
The total trading volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 68.89% YOY to UAH 2,372,661,982 (642,941 contracts); the total number of transactions reached 78,033.
The total trading volume on the securities market fell by 40% YOY to UAH 4,317,723,855; the total number of transactions decreased by 39% and reached 205,033.
In 2015, equities marker became a volume leaded with total trading volume reaching UAH 3,325 million (50% of total trading volume); followed by derivatives market – UAH 2,247 million (34%) and investment certificate, bonds reached UAH 992 million (14%).
Trading Structure of the Ukrainian Exchange in 2015
At the end of the year 2015, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 13.54% to 685.86 points.
UX Index Dynamic in 2014
In 2015, equities of Motor Sich (MSICH) became the turnover leader with the total trading volume reaching UAH 218,987,647 followed by government bonds (UA80400) – UAH 129,475,975 and stoks of Ukrnafta (UNAF) – UAH 129,327,312. Their total turnover share reached 19.24%, 11.38% and 11.36%, respectively.
